Description

This description has not been verified against the manufacturer's datasheet. Check the datasheet before you order, or ask us to confirm a specification. Ask us to confirm

The GTF2H1 monoclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is a mouse IgG1 clone raised against the p62 subunit of the general transcription factor IIH (TFIIH) complex. It is validated for Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation workflows using human samples, and is supplied as 100 µl of purified antibody in a Tris-Glycine buffer system ready for direct labelling or use with secondary detection reagents.

GTF2H1, also called p62, anchors the multi-subunit TFIIH complex that couples RNA polymerase II transcription initiation with nucleotide excision repair. Researchers studying transcription-coupled NER, the UV response, and the DNA repair defects underlying xeroderma pigmentosum and trichothiodystrophy use subunit-specific antibodies to monitor TFIIH assembly, chromatin recruitment, and stoichiometry in cell extracts.

This unconjugated reagent is provided in 0.1 M Tris-Glycine buffer at pH 7.4, containing 150 mM sodium chloride, 0.2% sodium azide as preservative, and 50% glycerol for storage stability. Aliquot upon arrival to minimize freeze-thaw cycles, store refrigerated at 4 °C for short-term use, and keep frozen at -20 °C for long-term storage. Protect from light when not in use.

Reactivity is confirmed for human GTF2H1. For research use only; not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
