Anti-GTF2F2 Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal reagent recognizes GTF2F2, the 30 kDa RAP30 subunit of general transcription factor IIF that partners with RAP74 to load RNA polymerase II onto promoters and to support promoter melting and early transcript elongation. Supplied by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated 100 µl liquid aliquot, the antibody is affinity-purified from rabbit serum and validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence on human cells and tissues. In WB it yields a clean band near 30 kDa from nuclear or whole-cell extracts; in IHC and IF it produces nuclear staining consistent with the protein's role inside the transcription machinery. Short-term bench handling should keep the vial refrigerated and protected from light, with working aliquots reserved to limit freeze-thaw damage to the IgG.
