Manufactured by Antibodies.com as a primary antibody for research use, this affinity-purified reagent is a rabbit polyclonal raised against a synthetic peptide derived from the internal region of human GTBP, and it is supplied as a 50 µL liquid aliquot at a final concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL. The antibody is unconjugated and is formulated in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide as a preservative. For everyday handling, the vial is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted upon arrival and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity. Validation data on the supplier page supports use in ELISA, Western blot (WB), immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) workflows, and the polyclonal reagent has been confirmed to detect endogenous levels of GTBP in samples derived from human, mouse and monkey origins, reflecting the cross-reactivity profile of the internal-region immunogen. Purification is performed by affinity chromatography of rabbit antiserum against the epitope-specific peptide, ensuring enrichment of GTBP-binding immunoglobulins and low background in the recommended applications. The antibody is sold through AFMS as part of the Antibodies.com Primary Antibodies range and is intended strictly for research use; it is not approved for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes. With a clear specificity for the GTBP target, broad species reactivity across human, mouse and monkey samples, and a flexible four-application validation panel spanning immunoblotting, imaging and immunoassay formats, this reagent is well suited to laboratories investigating DNA mismatch-repair-associated GTBP biology and related cell-stress pathways.
