Anti-GSTP1 Antibody

Raised in rabbit and validated for multiple applications, this polyclonal reagent targets Glutathione S-Transferase Pi 1 (GSTP1), a phase II detoxification enzyme from Antibodies.com. The antibody recognizes GSTP1 across human, mouse, and rat samples and is validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, immunoprecipitation, and flow cytometry. GSTP1 catalyzes the conjugation of reduced glutathione with xenobiotic substrates, lipid peroxidation products, and reactive electrophiles, so researchers use this reagent to investigate oxidative stress responses, tumor biology, and mechanisms of chemotherapeutic resistance where GSTP1 is often overexpressed. Supplied as 100 µl at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, the unconjugated format permits flexible secondary antibody pairing.
