Anti-GSTM1 Antibody

This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody binds GSTM1 (Glutathione S-Transferase Mu 1), a phase II detoxification enzyme encoded on human chromosome 1p13.3. Supplied by Antibodies.com as a 100 µl vial, the reagent is validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence on human specimens. The polyclonal blend recognizes multiple epitopes of the mu-class enzyme, supporting research into xenobiotic conjugation, carcinogen detoxification, and population studies of the widely studied GSTM1 null polymorphism. Expected band size in denaturing western blot is near 25 kDa, with strongest expression in liver, testis, and kidney tissue.
