Raised in rabbit and affinity purified by Protein A chromatography, this unconjugated polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com targets human Glutathione S-Transferase Alpha 1 (GSTA1) and is supplied as a 100 µl vial in 0.1 M Tris-buffered saline containing 10% glycerol (pH 7.0), with 0.01% thimerosal added as a preservative. The antibody has been individually validated across three orthogonal readouts, each with an explicitly recommended working dilution: Western blot at 1:1000 on 30 µg of Hep G2 whole cell lysate resolved on 12% SDS-PAGE; immunohistochemistry at 1:250 on paraffin-embedded colon carcinoma tissue; and immunofluorescence at 1:500 on methanol-fixed Hep3B cells. This trio of validated protocols lets laboratories move between expression screening in a hepatic cell model, tissue-level localization in tumor sections, and subcellular imaging without re-optimizing primary antibody conditions.

The unconjugated format pairs cleanly with the laboratory's preferred secondary antibody, including HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG for chromogenic western blot and IHC detection, or fluorophore-labeled secondaries for multiplex immunofluorescence imaging. For handling, the vial is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted on receipt and stored at -20°C, with freeze-thaw cycles of the working aliquots minimized to preserve titer across repeated experiments. Intended for research use only; not for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
