Anti-GST Tag Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody to GST Tag, offered by Antibodies.com as a primary antibody. The reagent is supplied unconjugated with an IgG isotype and is affinity purified. It is raised against a recombinant protein corresponding to amino acids 1–218 of the GST protein.

Provided as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide, the target has a molecular weight of 27 kDa and the antibody is species independent in its reactivity. Recommended working dilutions are 1:1,000–1:2,000 for Western blot and 1:2,000–1:10,000 for immunoprecipitation. Listed applications include Western blot, immunofluorescence, and immunoprecipitation, while the manufacturer has validated the antibody for WB and IP, supported by four scientific validation images.

The antibody is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted upon delivery and stored at −20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles to be avoided.
