Anti-GST Antibody [F8]

The Anti-GST Antibody [F8] from Antibodies.com is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 reagent raised against Schistosoma japonicum glutathione S-transferase (GST), a 26 kDa tag commonly fused to recombinant proteins for expression, purification, and detection workflows. This unconjugated, liquid-format antibody is supplied at 100 µg per vial and validated for western blot, ELISA, and immunoprecipitation (IP) applications. It is widely used to confirm expression of GST-tagged fusion proteins in bacterial and eukaryotic lysates, to track affinity-purification fractions, and to immunoprecipitate GST fusion partners from cell extracts. For western blot, an HRP- or AP-conjugated anti-mouse IgG secondary is recommended, with 10–20 µg of total protein per lane as a typical load. For long-term use, aliquot the stock and store at -20°C, limiting freeze-thaw cycles to preserve antibody activity. Intended for research use only.
