Anti-GSR Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal IgG from Antibodies.com, this reagent recognizes glutathione-disulfide reductase (GSR), the mitochondrial and cytosolic flavoenzyme that catalyzes NADPH-dependent reduction of oxidized glutathione (GSSG) to its reduced form (GSH). The unconjugated antibody is supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, packaged as a 100 µl vial.

Validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human, mouse, and rat specimens, the reagent supports studies of oxidative damage, mitochondrial redox cycling, and glutathione pathway activity in cancer, neurodegeneration, and chemical-induced toxicity models. Storage at -20 °C in single-use aliquots preserves binding capacity across multiple experiments while limiting freeze-thaw degradation of the polyclonal pool.
