Anti-GSN Antibody

Raised in rabbit as an unconjugated polyclonal IgG, this primary antibody recognizes gelsolin (GSN), a calcium-regulated actin-modulating protein that caps, severs, and nucleates filamentous actin. The Antibodies.com reagent is supplied as 200 µl of liquid and is validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometry on human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting cytoskeletal remodeling studies, cell motility comparisons, and investigations of calcium-dependent actin dynamics. Because the antibody is unconjugated, laboratories pair it with the labeled secondary reagent of their choice (HRP, fluorophore, or biotin), which is useful when matching existing detection panels or multiplexing experiments. Recommended dilution ranges and antigen-retrieval conditions should be optimized per specimen; paraffin sections for IHC often benefit from citrate-buffer heat retrieval, and FC staining is performed on fixed and permeabilized cells.
