Anti-GSK3A (phospho S21) Antibody

Raised in rabbits and purified by antigen affinity chromatography against an epitope-specific phosphopeptide corresponding to the T-S-S(p)-F-A sequence flanking human GSK3 alpha Ser21, this unconjugated IgG reagent from Antibodies.com detects endogenous GSK3A only in its serine-21-phosphorylated state. The antibody discriminates against the closely related GSK-3 beta isoform phosphorylated at Ser9, supporting its use as a specific readout of AKT-mediated inhibitory phosphorylation upstream of glycogen metabolism, neuronal signaling, and Wnt pathway regulation in cell-based and tissue-based assays.

Supplied as a 100 µl volume in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, the reagent is validated for Western blot (1:500-1:1000), immunohistochemistry (1:50-1:100), and immunofluorescence (1:100-1:500) workflows on human, mouse, and rat samples.
