Glycogen Synthase Kinase 3 Beta (GSK3β) is a constitutively active serine/threonine kinase that participates in glycogen biosynthesis, Wnt/β-catenin signaling, insulin receptor signaling, and the phosphorylation of tau protein. Researchers investigating these pathways rely on well-validated antibodies to measure endogenous GSK3β across cell and tissue model systems.

This unconjugated polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit and affinity-purified to recognize GSK3β in human, mouse, and rat samples. The antibody has been validated for Western blot detection of the kinase in cell lysates and tissue homogenates, immunohistochemistry on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded sections, immunoprecipitation of native complexes, and ELISA-based quantification of protein levels.

Each vial is supplied as 100 µl of liquid antiserum in a stabilizing buffer ready for dilution into standard assay workflows. Aliquot upon receipt and store at -20°C in single-use fractions to limit freeze-thaw cycles; protect from light and avoid prolonged exposure to room temperature. The unconjugated format allows flexible pairing with HRP, biotin, or fluorophore-conjugated secondary reagents depending on the detection platform.

Distributed by Antibodies.com, this reagent is intended for research use only and supports studies in neurodegeneration, metabolic disease, oncology, and developmental biology where GSK3β activity is a measurable variable.
