Anti-GSK3α / β Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com and supplied through AFMS, this rabbit-derived polyclonal reagent is raised against glycogen synthase kinase 3 alpha and beta, allowing simultaneous detection of both GSK3α and GSK3β isoforms in endogenous samples. The antibody is provided as a 50 µl liquid formulation in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide, with a working concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL following affinity purification on an epitope-specific immunogen (a synthetic peptide derived from the human GSK3α/β sequence around the non-phosphorylation sites Y279/Y216). The host species is rabbit, the clonality is polyclonal, the conjugate is unconjugated, and the target reactivity has been validated in human, mouse and rat samples. Recommended applications include ELISA, Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC), making it suitable for signalling, phosphorylation and neurobiology workflows. Each lot is shipped at 4 °C from Cambridge (UK); upon receipt the antibody should be aliquoted and stored long-term at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve performance.
