Anti-GSK3β (phospho-S9) Antibody

Antibodies.com provides a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against GSK3β phosphorylated at Serine 9. The unconjugated reagent is validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry and immunoprecipitation and is reactive with human, mouse and rat samples.

It is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, approximately pH 7.2. The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human GSK3β around the phosphorylation site of Serine 9, and the antibody specifically detects endogenous levels of GSK3β protein only when phosphorylated at Ser9. The antibody has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, with purity greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE, and recognises a band at approximately 46 kDa.
