Anti-GSK3α (phospho-S21) Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody, offered by Antibodies.com, is raised against GSK3α phosphorylated at Serine 21 and is validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunoprecipitation (IP). It is unconjugated and reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

According to the manufacturer, the immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human GSK3α around the phosphorylation site of Serine 21, and the antibody detects endogenous levels of GSK3α protein only when phosphorylated at Ser21. The expected molecular weight is approximately 51 kDa. The product is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2. It has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, with a stated purity of greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
