Anti-GSDMB Antibody

GSDMB (Gasdermin B) belongs to the gasdermin family of pore-forming proteins. Full-length GSDMB resides in the cytoplasm, but cleavage by granzyme A from cytotoxic T lymphocytes and NK cells releases an N-terminal fragment that oligomerizes in the plasma membrane to drive pyroptotic cell death. The 17q21 locus has been linked to asthma susceptibility in genome-wide association studies, and tumor-cell killing by immune effector cells has drawn GSDMB into cancer immunology research, making this reagent useful for laboratories mapping pyroptosis, mucosal immunity, and tumor-immune interactions.

For handling, store the vial frozen at -20 °C in single-use aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles and protect from light during use. Centrifuge briefly before opening and avoid prolonged exposure to ambient temperatures.
