Anti-GRPR Antibody

Affinity-purified polyclonal reagent raised in rabbit against the gastrin-releasing peptide receptor (GRPR), a seven-transmembrane G protein-coupled receptor that mediates signaling by GRP and related bombesin-like peptides. Distributed by Antibodies.com as a 100 µl liquid aliquot in an unconjugated format, the antibody is intended for western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) workflows on samples of human, mouse, and rat origin.

Validated uses include detection of GRPR in nervous tissue, where the receptor has been linked to pruritus pathways in spinal-cord neurons, as well as gastrointestinal smooth muscle preparations and oncology research settings where GRPR expression serves as a marker of proliferative signaling. The unconjugated format allows direct integration with user-selected secondary reagents and chromogenic or fluorescent detection chemistries.
