Endoplasmic reticulum chaperone GRP94, also known as HSP90B1, gp96, or endoplasmin, plays a central role in protein folding, calcium homeostasis, and the unfolded protein response. The Antibodies.com Anti-GRP94 polyclonal reagent is a rabbit host antibody raised against this HSP90-family chaperone and supplied unconjugated at 1 mg/ml in PBS containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol.

Packaged as 100 µl in a single vial, the antiserum is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human, mouse, and rat samples. This species coverage supports cross-species comparative work, including ER-stress modeling in rodent tissue, chaperone profiling in human tumor sections, and confirmation of endogenous GRP94 levels in cell lysates. The polyclonal format recognizes multiple epitopes on HSP90B1, helping with detection of full-length and processed chaperone forms across immunoblot and fixed-tissue workflows.

For storage, aliquot upon first use and freeze at -20°C; the 50% glycerol cryoprotectant prevents ice formation during routine freezing. Repeated freeze-thaw cycles should be avoided to preserve binding activity, and the 0.1% sodium azide provides microbial protection during short-term bench-top use while setting up assays.
