Anti-GRN Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets GRN (granulin/progranulin), a secreted glycoprotein broadly studied for its roles in cell growth regulation, wound repair, and inflammatory signaling. It is supplied as a 200 µl liquid aliquot of unconjugated IgG raised in rabbit, intended for Western blot detection of endogenous granulin expression in human and mouse samples.

The reagent recognizes multiple epitopes on the granulin precursor, which is an advantage when probing full-length progranulin or its processed granulin peptides. Researchers use it in studies of neurodegeneration, including frontotemporal dementia models tied to GRN loss-of-function mutations, as well as in tumor biology where progranulin acts as a secreted growth factor.
