Progranulin (GRN) is a secreted cysteine-rich glycoprotein linked to inflammation, wound healing, neurotrophic signaling, and lysosomal homeostasis, with loss-of-function mutations associated with frontotemporal lobar degeneration (FTLD) and dysregulated expression reported in several solid tumours. This rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com binds endogenous GRN and is qualified for Western blot detection in human and mouse sample lysates. The unconjugated format allows pairing with HRP- or fluorophore-conjugated secondary antibodies chosen by the researcher.
Supplied as a 100 µl volume, the antibody supports immunoblot work in neuroscience, oncology, and lysosomal-storage research, where resolving full-length progranulin alongside its granulins and cleavage fragments on PVDF or nitrocellulose membranes is a routine need. For best reagent stability, store at -20 °C, prepare small working aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycling, and protect from light when paired with a fluorescent secondary.
