Anti-GRM5 Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody targets Metabotropic Glutamate Receptor 5 (GRM5) and is supplied as an unconjugated IgG in liquid form. It is validated for Western blot and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) applications and reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples. The antibody was raised against a recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 430–510 of human GRM5 (NP_001137303.1) and was affinity purified. The reported molecular weight is 150 kDa, with a 300 kDa form also observed.

The product is formulated in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide, with a lot-specific concentration. Recommended working dilutions are 1:500–1:1,000 for Western blot and 1:50–1:200 for ICC/IF. It is shipped at 4°C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
