Rabbit polyclonal IgG raised against G protein-coupled receptor kinase 3 (GRK 3), encoded by the ADRBK2 gene, is supplied by Antibodies.com at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a 100 µl vial. The unconjugated antibody recognizes a conserved epitope shared between human, mouse, and rat orthologues, supporting reproducible detection across species in Western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows.

GRK 3 phosphorylates activated G protein-coupled receptors, terminating receptor signalling through β-arrestin recruitment. Researchers studying cardiovascular pharmacology, dopaminergic neuron regulation, and receptor desensitization pathways use anti-GRK 3 antibodies to probe receptor internalization and signalling dynamics in tissue lysates and fixed sections.

For Western blot, the antibody is applied to whole-cell or tissue lysates separated by SDS-PAGE, transferred to nitrocellulose or PVDF, and detected with HRP-conjugated secondary reagents. In IHC, the polyclonal formulation helps amplify signal on paraffin-embedded or cryosectioned tissue, and the 50% glycerol additive maintains antibody activity during repeated freeze-thaw cycles when stored at -20 °C. Aliquot upon first use to limit preservative exposure and protect from light.
