G protein-coupled receptor kinase 2 (GRK2), also referred to as ADRBK1 and βARK1, is a serine/threonine kinase that phosphorylates agonist-occupied GPCRs such as the β2-adrenergic receptor, driving receptor desensitization and β-arrestin-mediated internalization. This unconjugated mouse monoclonal antibody from Antibodies.com specifically recognizes GRK 2 and has been validated for Western Blot detection across human and mouse samples. The reagent is supplied as a 50 µl aliquot of purified monoclonal antibody in 0.1 M Tris-Glycine buffer (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.2% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol for storage stability. Researchers use this antibody to probe GRK2 expression and phosphorylation status in cardiomyocyte, neuronal, and broader GPCR signaling studies, supporting investigations into cardiac β-adrenergic receptor regulation, receptor trafficking, and downstream signaling in cell and tissue lysates.
