G protein-coupled receptor kinase 2 (GRK2), encoded by the ADRBK1 gene, is a cytosolic serine/threonine kinase best known for phosphorylating agonist-occupied β-adrenergic receptors and other GPCRs to drive desensitization, β-arrestin recruitment, and clathrin-mediated internalization. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against GRK 2 and validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry in human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting research in cardiovascular biology, metabolic signaling, and GPCR regulation.

The antibody is supplied as 100 µl of liquid at 1 mg per ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2. Researchers commonly aliquot the stock on arrival to limit freeze-thaw cycles and store the working solution refrigerated. Because the polyclonal reagent recognizes multiple epitopes on the approximately 80 kDa GRK2 protein, it can be used to track full-length enzyme alongside truncated splice variants and post-translationally modified forms that arise in studies of cardiac hypertrophy, insulin resistance, and inflammatory signaling pathways.
