GRIN3B (glutamate ionotropic receptor NMDA-type subunit 3B) is a regulatory component of the NMDA receptor family expressed primarily in central nervous system neurons, and this polyclonal IgG antibody from Antibodies.com provides a reagent for detecting the rat protein in Western blot workflows. Raised in rabbit and supplied unconjugated as a 50 µl liquid in a vial, the antibody recognizes the native GRIN3B polypeptide in tissue homogenates and cell lysates prepared under standard denaturing and reducing conditions. The reagent supports neuroscience research into NMDA receptor subunit composition, synaptic signaling, glutamate receptor assembly, and developmental expression patterns, and is used in rat model studies of excitatory neurotransmission and neurological function. As an unconjugated primary antibody of polyclonal clonality, it can be paired with a secondary reagent of choice for chemiluminescent or chromogenic detection on Western blot membranes.
