Anti-GRIK1 Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com was raised against GRIK1, the gene encoding the GluK1 (also called GluR5) subunit of the kainate-type ionotropic glutamate receptor family that drives fast excitatory neurotransmission in the central nervous system. The product is supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated IgG, is validated for Western blot detection of mouse GRIK1, and should be stored frozen in single-use aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles. It is well suited to immunoblotting of neural tissue lysates, cultured neuronal preparations, and recombinant protein samples used to study glutamatergic receptor pharmacology.
