Raised in rabbit against a synthetic peptide region flanking residue R178, this polyclonal antibody recognizes Growth Factor Receptor Bound Protein 2 (GRB2), a cytoplasmic adaptor protein containing SH2 and SH3 domains. GRB2 couples activated receptor tyrosine kinases to the Ras/MAPK signaling cascade and is central to research on growth factor signaling, cell proliferation, and differentiation pathways. Antibodies.com supplies the reagent as an unconjugated IgG preparation at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, packaged in a 100 µl volume appropriate for multiple immunohistochemistry runs.

This polyclonal reagent was raised against human GRB2 and shows cross-reactivity with the mouse and rat orthologues of the target. Validation covers immunostaining of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections, making the reagent appropriate for mapping GRB2 expression in human biopsies and rodent model tissues. Because the antibody is unconjugated, researchers can pair it with their own preferred detection chemistries, including HRP, biotin, or fluorescent secondary labeling for IHC workflows in cell signaling and cancer research laboratories.
