Anti-GRASP Antibody

Affinity-purified polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com raised in rabbit against GRASP, the General Receptor for Phosphoinositides 1-associated scaffold protein (also known as GRP1-associated scaffold protein, Protein TAMALIN and TAMALIN). The unconjugated IgG antibody is validated for Western blot and reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples. It detects endogenous levels of total GRASP protein, and was generated by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 814–818 (Q-E-I-V-R) of Rat GRASP, conjugated to KLH, followed by affinity-chromatography purification using the epitope-specific peptide.

The product is supplied at a concentration of 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺), pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. It is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted and stored at −20 °C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
