The GRAP2 protein is a hematopoietic adaptor in the GRB2 family, linking T-cell receptor signals to downstream effectors through its SH2 and SH3 domains. This rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets the human GRAP2 sequence and is supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated antiserum suitable for Western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows. Polyclonal preparations typically recognize multiple epitopes, which can be advantageous when probing low-abundance adaptor proteins in lymphoid lysates. The antibody is raised in rabbit and reactive against human samples, making it a useful reagent for studies of T-cell receptor signaling, immune synapse formation, and adaptor-mediated recruitment of SLP-76 family proteins at the signaling complex. Researchers commonly probe for GRAP2 in Jurkat T-cell lines or primary lymphocyte extracts, where the adaptor is endogenously expressed. To preserve activity, aliquot the antiserum upon receipt and freeze; repeated freeze-thaw cycles can reduce polyclonal titer over time.
