Anti-GR (phospho-S226) Antibody

Antibodies.com offers a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against GR (phospho-S226), recognising the glucocorticoid receptor only when phosphorylated at Serine 226. The unconjugated antibody is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications and has been shown to react with Human, Mouse and Rat samples. It is supplied at 1 mg/ml in Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2.

The immunogen used was a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human GR around the phosphorylation site of Serine 226. The reagent specifically detects endogenous levels of GR protein when phosphorylated at Ser226 and corresponds to a band at approximately 90 kDa. The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with reported purity greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
