Anti-GR (Ab-211) Antibody

Raised in rabbit and affinity-purified by epitope-specific chromatography, this polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is directed against the glucocorticoid receptor (GR, NR3C1) and is supplied as 50 µl of unconjugated Rabbit IgG at a concentration of 1.0 mg/mL. The immunogen is a synthetic non-phosphopeptide derived from human GR surrounding the serine 211 region (N-E-S-P-W), so the antibody detects endogenous levels of total GR protein regardless of phosphorylation status. The formulation is rabbit IgG in phosphate buffered saline without Mg²⁺ or Ca²⁺ (pH 7.4) with 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, and the product is shipped at 4 °C; for longer storage it should be aliquoted and kept at –20 °C with freeze/thaw cycles avoided. Verified applications on the supplier datasheet are Western blot, immunohistochemistry and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence, and the antibody is reactive with human samples.
