Anti-GPX2 Antibody

A polyclonal antibody raised in rabbit and marketed by Antibodies.com is directed against Glutathione Peroxidase 2 (GPX2). It is of the IgG isotype and supplied unconjugated. The reagent reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples and has been validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC).

The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 100–180 of human GPX2 (NP_002074.2). The target protein has a molecular weight of 21 kDa. The antibody is provided as a liquid preparation in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3), supplemented with 50% glycerol and 0.01% Thiomersal, and has been affinity purified.

Recommended working dilutions are 1:500–1:2,000 for WB and 1:50–1:200 for IHC. Concentration is lot-specific. The product is shipped at 4°C; upon receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at −20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
