GPR81, also known as HCAR1 (hydroxycarboxylic acid receptor 1), is a G-protein coupled receptor that functions as a cell-surface sensor for lactate and related metabolites, with established roles in adipocyte signaling, tumor microenvironment metabolism, and immune cell function.
This Antibodies.com rabbit polyclonal Anti-GPR81 reagent is raised against the receptor and applied for Western blot detection in human, mouse, and rat samples. Supplied as an unconjugated antibody at 1 mg/ml in PBS containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, the reagent is packaged at a 100 µl size, allowing several immunoblotting runs from a single vial.
The polyclonal format enables recognition of multiple epitopes on the target, supporting reliable band detection at the expected molecular weight. Store the vial at -20 degrees C in the supplied glycerol buffer to preserve antibody activity over long-term use, and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles by aliquoting on first use. This reagent is for research use only and is not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
