Raised in rabbit against human GPR75, this polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com supports studies of a G protein-coupled receptor implicated in energy homeostasis and metabolic regulation. Loss-of-function variants in GPR75 have been associated with lower BMI and protection from obesity, drawing attention from researchers in metabolic disease, neuroscience, and oncology.

Supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide (approx. pH 7.2), the unconjugated reagent is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunocytochemistry (ICC). The polyclonal format offers broad epitope recognition across the receptor, useful when working with post-translational modifications or low-abundance targets in crude lysates.

Reactivity has been demonstrated with human, mouse, and rat samples, enabling translational studies across model organisms and patient-derived material. Each vial contains 100 µL of antibody, sufficient for multiple Western blots or staining runs depending on dilution. Aliquot and freeze at -20 degrees C to preserve activity across repeated experiments, and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

The unconjugated format allows flexibility in choosing secondary antibodies and detection chemistries, supporting fluorescence, chromogenic, and chemiluminescence workflows. Common downstream uses include expression profiling in cell lines and primary cultures, mapping of GPR75 distribution in neural and metabolic tissues, and characterization of receptor signaling partners in obesity, cardiovascular, and glioblastoma pathways.
