Anti-GPR68 (R214) Antibody

Raised in rabbit as a polyclonal reagent against the proton-sensing G-protein coupled receptor GPR68 (also known as OGR1, ovarian cancer G-protein coupled receptor 1), this unconjugated primary antibody is validated for western blot detection of the target in human, mouse, and rat samples. GPR68 acts as a pH-sensitive GPCR that responds to extracellular acidosis and participates in osteoclast differentiation, vascular smooth muscle signaling, and neuronal activity pathways. The immunogen corresponds to a region surrounding residue R214, a cytoplasmic-loop segment conserved across the listed species.

Supplied as a 100 µl aliquot at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline with 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, the stock should be stored at -20 °C; working aliquots are recommended to limit freeze-thaw cycles of the antibody.
