GPR158 is an orphan G protein-coupled receptor that has emerged as a regulator of RGS7 signaling in neurons and an oncogenic driver in advanced prostate cancer. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com was raised against GPR158 and is supplied as a 100 µl aliquot for use across immunoblotting, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, and ELISA workflows. It recognizes both human and mouse GPR158, supporting translational studies that compare receptor expression in patient tissue samples with murine disease models, including prostate tumor xenografts and prefrontal cortex brain tissue. Published work using this class of antibody has localized GPR158 to the plasma membrane and cytoplasm of prostate cancer cell lines and to specific cortical layers in mouse brain, making it well suited for expression profiling, subcellular localization, and target validation experiments. The polyclonal format gives broader epitope coverage than monoclonal alternatives, an advantage when probing conformational or post-translationally modified forms of the receptor. Store the vial refrigerated, working in small aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles and protect antibody titer over the shelf life of the reagent.
