GPR15 is a G protein-coupled receptor originally identified as a co-receptor facilitating HIV and SIV entry into susceptible cells, and it is now recognized for its role in directing lymphocyte trafficking to the colonic lamina propria. Researchers in mucosal immunology, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and retrovirology use antibodies against this receptor to characterize T cell subsets that express it, including Th17 cells, regulatory T cells, and effector memory populations.

This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is supplied as 100 µl volumes and is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human samples. The polyclonal format provides recognition of multiple epitopes across the receptor, useful when probing expression changes in disease models or patient-derived tissue. Investigators examining GPR15 as a candidate biomarker in ulcerative colitis or as a viral susceptibility factor rely on IHC to map receptor distribution in intestinal biopsies and on Western blot to compare expression in cell lines and primary lymphocytes.

Store refrigerated upon arrival; aliquot the antibody if extended storage is planned to limit freeze-thaw cycles of the working stock. For research use only.
