Anti-GPR12 Antibody

An affinity-purified polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com, raised in rabbit against a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 51–96 of human GPR12. Supplied unconjugated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2, the antibody reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples. It is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) applications and is supported by one scientific validation image.

The reagent detects endogenous levels of GPR12 protein, migrating at approximately 36 kDa, and purity is greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE following affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen. GPR12 is a 334 amino acid G protein-coupled receptor expressed primarily in the brain, particularly in regions where neuronal differentiation takes place. It signals through an inhibitory G protein and is reported to positively influence the differentiation and maturation of post-mitotic neurons, and may promote the growth of neuronal precursor cells.
