GPR119 is a G protein-coupled receptor expressed in pancreatic beta cells and intestinal L-cells, where it contributes to glucose-stimulated insulin secretion and incretin hormone release. The unconjugated polyclonal reagent supplied by Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit and validated for western blot, immunofluorescence, and ELISA workflows against human samples.
Researchers working on diabetes and metabolic disease pathways, including receptor signaling, beta cell biology, and incretin biology, use this reagent to characterize GPR119 expression in relevant cell and tissue models. Each vial contains 100 µl of antibody, sufficient for multiple western blot and immunofluorescence runs in standard laboratory protocols.
