A rabbit-derived polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets human Glycoprotein A33 (GPA33), a transmembrane immunoglobulin-superfamily member expressed in normal gastrointestinal epithelium and retained on the majority of colorectal carcinoma cells. The unconjugated antibody is supplied in a 100 µl vial and is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows on formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue.

GPA33 carries two extracellular Ig-like loops and a short cytoplasmic tail, and its restricted expression on gut epithelium and colorectal tumors has made it a candidate for antibody-based imaging and immunotherapy studies in colon cancer models. Researchers investigating colorectal cancer biomarkers, gastrointestinal lineage tracing, or antibody-drug conjugate target validation will find this primary antibody useful for protein-level confirmation in cell lysates and tissue localization in patient-derived specimens. Reactivity is reported for human samples, consistent with the antigen's well-characterized distribution across the colonic crypt epithelium and adenocarcinomas of the lower gastrointestinal tract.

The reagent is shipped on blue ice and should be stored at -20 °C in single-use aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles of the polyclonal preparation, with brief storage at 4 °C acceptable for short-term working dilutions.
