Anti-gp91-phox (I502) Antibody

This unconjugated polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit and targets an epitope surrounding residue I502 of human gp91-phox, the catalytic membrane-bound subunit of the phagocytic NADPH oxidase complex. The antibody cross-reacts with mouse and rat orthologs and is validated for immunohistochemistry on formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections.

It is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (approximate pH 7.2) containing 0.05% sodium azide as a preservative, and ships as a 100 µl vial. Applications include mapping microglial and neutrophil NADPH oxidase distribution, characterizing oxidative burst responses in chronic granulomatous disease models, and identifying the X-linked CYBB gene product in vascular, renal, and neural tissues. The unconjugated format allows direct conjugation to fluorophores or enzymes in custom detection workflows.
