Anti-GP IIb/IIIa Antibody [Y8]

Mouse monoclonal antibody (clone Y8) raised against platelet membrane glycoprotein IIb/IIIa (GP IIb/IIIa), supplied by antibodies.com as a lyophilised preparation. The antibody is of the IgG1 isotype and is unconjugated, with reactivity confirmed against human samples. It has been validated for use in ELISA and Western blotting applications.

The antibody was generated using a human platelet suspension as immunogen and is produced by the Sp2/0-Ag14 cell line. Purification is performed by Protein G affinity chromatography, and the product is formulated lyophilised from a 0.01M phosphate buffered saline solution at pH 7.2. The working concentration is reconstitution dependent, and the lyophilised product should be reconstituted with double distilled water. For storage stability, the antibody is shipped at 4°C and, upon delivery, should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
