This mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody from Antibodies.com targets platelet glycoprotein IIb/IIIa (integrin αIIbβ3), the fibrinogen receptor central to platelet aggregation. Clone [474] recognises the human antigen and is supplied as an unconjugated, lyophilised 100 µg preparation suitable for ELISA and Western blot workflows in cardiovascular and haematology research.

GP IIb/IIIa expression is largely restricted to megakaryocytes and platelets, making this reagent a standard tool for characterising platelet activation, profiling conformational changes in the integrin during thrombus formation, and investigating disease contexts ranging from acute coronary syndromes to immune thrombocytopenia. Because the antibody is unconjugated, it can be directly conjugated in-house to fluorophores, biotin, or HRP for use in flow cytometry, immunoprecipitation, or imaging assays without the need for a secondary detection step.

Reconstitute the lyophilised pellet in sterile buffer, aliquot to limit freeze-thaw cycles, and store working aliquots refrigerated for short-term use. The reagent is intended for research use only and is not validated for clinical diagnostic procedures.
