Anti-GOPC Antibody

The GOPC protein, also referred to as PIST, CAL, or FIG, is a Golgi-associated scaffold with PDZ and coiled-coil domains that directs vesicle trafficking between the trans-Golgi network and endosomes. This unconjugated polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com was raised in rabbit and is supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, packaged as a 100 µl vial. It is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting studies of intracellular membrane sorting, autophagy regulation, and the reported involvement of GOPC in glioblastoma and in cystic fibrosis CFTR trafficking. For best stability, store frozen at -20 °C and dispense into single-use aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles before each experiment.
