Anti-GOLM1 Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against GOLM1 (Golgi membrane protein 1), a type II transmembrane glycoprotein also known as GP73 that localizes to the cis-Golgi membrane of epithelial cells. Supplied as an unconjugated 100 µl vial, the reagent is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human samples and can be paired with HRP- or fluorophore-conjugated secondary antibodies in standard single-use detection workflows.

GOLM1 expression is widely studied as a tissue and serological marker for hepatocellular carcinoma, and altered expression has also been reported in HBV and HCV infection, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, and certain prostate and lung tumors. For Western blot the reagent detects endogenous GOLM1 in whole-cell lysates and tissue homogenates, while for immunohistochemistry it produces characteristic Golgi-pattern staining in formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded sections of human liver and tumor material.
