Anti-GOLGA3 Antibody

The polyclonal rabbit antibody targets GOLGA3 (Golgin A3), a peripheral membrane protein of the Golgi apparatus that contributes to cisternal stacking and vesicular trafficking within the secretory pathway. Golgin A3 localizes primarily to the cytoplasmic face of Golgi membranes and is studied by researchers investigating organelle architecture, cargo sorting, and the consequences of Golgi fragmentation in disease models. The polyclonal format provides recognition of multiple epitopes across the target, which is useful when probing full-length protein in lysates or visualizing subcellular distribution in fixed cells and tissue sections. Because Golga3 behaves as a large coiled-coil scaffolding protein, immunolabeling with this reagent can resolve Golgi ribbon morphology in immunofluorescence and produce a characteristic band near the predicted molecular weight in Western blot.
