Anti-GNPAT Antibody

Rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against glycerophosphate O-acyltransferase, a peroxisomal membrane-anchored enzyme that catalyzes the acylation of dihydroxyacetone phosphate in the first committed step of ether phospholipid (plasmalogen) biosynthesis. The reagent supports research into peroxisome biology, ether lipid metabolism, and the membrane lipid composition of neural, hepatic, and cardiac tissues.

The antibody is an unconjugated IgG preparation, raised in Rabbit, and supplied as 200 µl aliquots from Antibodies.com. The polyclonal format recognizes multiple epitopes on the GNPAT polypeptide, which is useful when probing endogenous protein in cell lysates or tissue homogenates that may contain partially degraded or modified target. Reactivity has been validated for Human and Mouse samples by Western blot.
