Anti-GNB4 Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against GNB4 (G protein subunit beta 4), a beta subunit of heterotrimeric G-proteins that mediates signaling downstream of G-protein-coupled receptors through the beta-gamma dimer. The unconjugated reagent is supplied at 200 µl and is validated for Western blot detection of the human target. GNB4 is of considerable biomedical interest because missense mutations in its gene are causal for Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease type 2D (CMT2D) and the overlapping intermediate CMT neuropathy type D, making well-characterized antibodies against it useful for studies of peripheral nerve biology and GPCR signal transduction. The polyclonal format, IgG isotype, and rabbit host give broad epitope coverage for detecting endogenous GNB4 in human cell and tissue lysates by western blot.
