Produced in rabbit as a polyclonal reagent and supplied at 100 µl per vial, this unconjugated primary antibody targets the G-protein beta subunit GNB1, a 35-37 kDa component of heterotrimeric G proteins that couples GPCR activation to downstream effectors. GNB1 is broadly expressed in neural tissue and is the focus of active research into GNB1 encephalopathy, a neurodevelopmental disorder caused by germline missense mutations, making the reagent useful for studies of signal transduction, neuronal differentiation, and disease-associated protein expression. The antibody is validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry on human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting comparative work in cell lines, primary cultures, and tissue sections. For best performance, aliquot and store at -20°C; avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles and protect from light. Each vial contains a single-use-format liquid preparation intended for research use only, supplied by Antibodies.com to support laboratories investigating G-protein-coupled signaling, neurodevelopmental disease, and related cell biology.
