Anti-GNAT2 Antibody

Raised in rabbit, this unconjugated polyclonal IgG antibody from Antibodies.com recognizes the human GNAT2 protein — the alpha subunit of the cone photoreceptor G-protein (cone transducin). Validated for Western blot (WB) applications and supplied as a 50 µl reagent, it supports detection of GNAT2 in lysates prepared from human cell lines or retinal tissue. GNAT2 couples cone opsins to the visual phototransduction cascade in cone photoreceptors, and loss-of-function variants in the gene have been linked to achromatopsia and cone dystrophy.
